Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Glass

This week’s Black and White Photo Challenge from Cee’s Photography is for the topic: GLASS

Here’s my take on it:

The first photograph is of the glass ceiling of the diwan-e-khaas (royal meeting room) at the Mehrangarh Fort (Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India) built in 1460.

The second photograph is from the Ramnagar Fort (Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India) built in 1750. In contrast to the Mehrangarh Fort, this wasn’t kept well with hardly any restoration attempt by the government. The photograph is of the stained glass window of the royal meeting room.
